Intelligence is one of the four offensive stats even though Echoes of Aincrad is not a traditional spellcaster RPG.

Acquisition
Section titled “Acquisition”Increase with Growth Points while resting at the Inn.
Check Intelligence when a skill or modifier points to non-physical scaling, special effects, support-style damage, or unusual weapon-skill behavior.
Do not assume Intelligence is useless just because the combat is weapon-based. The game data treats it as a damage stat.
